Registration Information:

Registration is through beascout.org.  Registration fees have increased in the past couple of years, but we offer scholarships for many families to ensure no scout is turned away due to cost.  These scholarships are paid for through scout fundraising and are done with a simple email request to the appropriate Pack Committee member (very informal).

Pack Meetings / General Information:

Pack 6 has one Pack meeting per month (second Tuesday of the month at the American Legion on Grand in SLO), one Pack event per month (see Pack Plan below), and between 1-3 Den meetings/events per month.

Grade Levels and Dens:

Cub Scouts are kindergarten through 5th graders.

  • Kinder: Lions
  • 1st: Tiger
  • 2nd: Wolf
  • 3rd: Bear
  • 4th: Webelos
  • 5th: Arrow of Light

We do encourage both girls and boys to join our Pack.  Arrow of Light scouts bridge to Scouts BSA (previously known as "Boy Scouts") in March of their 5th-grade year. There are several troops within the San Luis Obispo area, but we generally see our scouts bridging to either Troop 6, 308 or 322.
